About Me

My profile on Twitter says this: “Wife, mum of 2, journalist/media advisor, avid reader, baker and film buff.” Currently I’m manuscript editor at The Writer’s Coffee Shop Publishing House, pedlars of “mommy p0rn”. While I read a lot of books for work, my reviews of them here are completely honest and my own personal opinion.

That about covers it. Oh, and I’m from New Zealand.

I’ll read anything – but I probably draw the line at westerns.

My book choices are often random, switching from genre to genre. I love series, but often won’t read them all in a row. I like to cleanse my palate with something totally different in between.
I have never not finished a book. That may make me a masochist. I’m also a Kindle addict.

I can often be found playing on Twitter, where I’m @mrsaubergine, or on Tumblr at http://mrsaubergine.tumblr.com/

Oooh, tricky! Have you read J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series? That is epic in its hotness! Every single story is a gem.
I’ve also just read one of Karen Marie Moning’s other books, the Highlander series, and they seem to be quite *ahem* good as well. I’m told they get better as they go on, with the last ones very good indeed!
Hope that helps, and thanks for reading!
